is the theme for another fortnight's challenge with us at FunwithATCs and I have to admit: I LOVE texture and everything haptic.
For my ATC I glued some rough heart shaped cord to a piece of card and covered the whole surface with sandwich paper creating a lot of wrinkles. Afterwards I treated the dried paper with alcohol inks, leaving spaces of white around the heart shape. I then rubbed some inka gold onto the wrinkles and the cord heart shape, thus showing the texture of the cord even more.
The wings were die cut from Kraft Core using the Sizzix "layered wings" die, dry embossed and sanded a little before giving them some touches of rub ons and inka gold too. They were fixed to the ATC using tiny brads.
For a finish I added the die cut and rubbed on letters. Done! Hope you like it and let your imagination fly so I can see your textural creations over at our challenge blog soon!
